Independent software studio
Software that ships.
I take over software nobody understands any more, and make it safe to change.
01 Selected Work
A fashion-technology platform had outgrown the servers it was built on. We moved it onto modern managed infrastructure with no maintenance window, no weekend cutover, and no change to the running system — building the new production alongside the old one and proving it against real data before anything switched over. Client work, anonymised.
Read the case studyA mid-sized accounting firm built its board pack by hand every month. We replaced the spreadsheets with live firm, partner and division reporting — and refused to show a single figure until seven of the firm's own control totals tied to the cent. Client work, anonymised.
Read the case studyOur own orchestrator runs a team of AI agents that plan, build, review and merge real code unattended. Every merge has to clear real CI and an evidence check, every failure is recoverable, and only a person decides what the agents remember.
Read the case studyA rostering engine that checks its own work. A constraint solver builds a 13-week hospital roster against a real industrial award; a second, independent implementation re-verifies every clause to the minute — and caught two violations that would have survived any human review. There's a live demo you can try.
Try Rota AIReal neural guitar-amp inference as a drop-in Web Audio node. Loads a Neural Amp Modeler model into any browser audio graph in three lines — no UI framework, no cross-origin headers. A clean-room, MIT-licensed engine on npm as @happysoftware/nam-web.
A merchant tool that surfaces reorder opportunities before stockouts cost revenue. Tracks profit-at-risk by SKU and turns inventory data into action. Live on the Shopify App Store.
View Reorder RadarCron monitoring that catches silent failures. Simple pings, smart alerts, no noise — built for teams who can't afford a job to fail unnoticed.
View Cron CommandoA browser practice room: plug in, hear yourself through a real neural amp tone (powered by NAM Web), and the app grades what you play in real time. Free, no sign-up, runs entirely client-side.
Try Happy GuitarA study system for technical books and courses: Read, Articulate, Check, Exercise — then spaced review at 1, 3, 7, 14 and 30 days. Self-hosted on Node and SQLite. It calls no model API; the coach prompt is a manual handoff to whatever assistant you already use.
